Which motor insurance is right for you?

Comprehensive Motor Insurance

This is the most complete type of motor insurance cover. It covers your liability to Third Parties (death, bodily injury, property damage) and damages to your own vehicle. It also protects against theft, fire, flood and sometimes even vandalism

Third-Party Motor Insurance

This is the basic level of car insurance required by law (the Motor Vehicles Third Party Insurance Act of 1958). This policy indemnifies you and any permitted driver in respect of your legal liability to third parties for death and bodily injury as well as claims for damage to other persons' property arising out of the use of a motor vehicle. The minimum limit for third-party property damage at present is GH¢6,000.00. It does not cover any damage to your own car.

Third-Party Fire & Theft Motor Insurance

This is an extension of the Third-Party Cover. It provides indemnity for loss of or damage to the insured vehicle occasioned by Fire or Theft. It does not however, cover other accidental damage to your vehicle, e.g., Collision, overturning etc.
